How to arrange a mental capacity test

How to arrange a mental capacity test

A.D.E Wills provides a comprehensive Will writing service to cover all the essentials.

Write your Will online

Testamentary capacity is the legal term describing a person’s legal and mental ability to make or alter a valid Will. Without testamentary capacity at the time the Will is executed, the Will is invalid.

As the Donor (the person making the LPA), you must be over 18 years of age and have the mental capacity to make an LPA. Otherwise, the LPA will not be valid or effective.

All our online and telephone services are designed to show you had the required capacity at the time of making your Will or LPA.

However, there can sometimes be circumstances which give rise to doubts over whether someone has the requisite level of capacity. We work closely with an experienced team of specialist capacity assessors who can meet with you and provide a report on your capacity.

Simply get in touch with us by calling 01865 507174 or email us at info@adewills.co.uk and our team will be more than happy to help you.
