Will Writing Bonus Services
- Land Registry Title Register Search £5
It is commonplace for people to co-own their property but not know whether they own the property as joint tenants or tenants in common. The difference is fundamental if you wish to pass your property to specific people. We can conduct a search on the Land Registry for just £5 so you have certainty and clarity.
- Certainty Registration £10 (per Will)
It can often be daunting thinking about where to store your Will, especially given that a lost Will is deemed to be destroyed by the testator. To save you the worry, we can store your Will on Certainty, which is the Law Society’s endorsed provider of a national Will Register.
- Letter of Wishes £75
You can get that extra peace of mind and reassurance that your wishes will be clearly passed on with a letter of wishes.
- Will Witnessing Service £75
It is a legal requirement that a Will is witnessed by two independent people when signed. Simply let us know that you want one of our witnesses to come along to the signing meeting when booking your meeting.
- Will Signing Service £100
Simply let our team know when and where they need to be and they will be there to conduct the signing of your Will. We will even store your Will for free on Certainty, The National Will Database.
- Home Visit £100
We cater to your needs. We offer home visits to our clients where we will attend your home to take your Will instructions.
- Life Interest Trust £100
A life interest allows you to split the benefit of an asset between different parties and can be written into your Will. It usually is used regarding properties but can apply to other types of assets.
- Sever a Joint Tenancy £150
Joint tenants cannot pass their rights in a property, because the surviving joint owners continue to own the property together. To prevent this, we can sever your joint tenancy so you can pass your rights in the property to whoever you wish.
- Convert Tenancy in Common to Joint Tenancy £150
A Joint Tenancy can offer advantages in bypassing probate administration. You need the agreement of all the other joint owners to change from being tenants in common to joint tenants. Our experienced team will advise you accordingly and prepare all the necessary documents to achieve the outcome you desire.
- Discretionary Trust £150
A discretionary trust gives trustees the power to decide how much beneficiaries get from a trust and when they get it.
- Mental Capacity Assessment TBC
We work closely with experienced teams of specialist capacity assessors and medical professionals who can meet with you and provide a report on your capacity.
You Can Save Over £100 Compared to High Street Solicitors When You Write Your Will With Us
We keep our fixed prices low and our quality of service high.
The law is strict on the requirements when signing a Will. If they are not complied with, the Will may be challenged on the basis that it is invalid.
We send clear and easy-to-follow signing instructions with all our Wills and ask for confirmation that these have been followed.
However, for extra safety, we offer an additional ‘Execution’ service.
We will arrange and conduct the signing of your Will to ensure it has been validly executed. We can also provide our own independent witnesses and produce a record of the meeting to protect your Will.
If you would like this extra protection, just let us know at the end of the form when you write your Will online or tell us over the phone.
Execution Service For Just £100
Advice Service For Just £75
There are many risks in writing your Will by yourself or producing a ‘DIY’ Will at home. Whilst we warn against this, there is nothing to stop you from doing this.
All we can do is help you.
That is why we offer an ‘Advice’ service to help you gain more understanding on how to write your own Will above and beyond what any article or free guide can offer you.
Rather Have a Qualified Professional Write Your Will?
If, after receiving the Advice service, you feel that writing your own Will by yourself may seem too much, that is absolutely fine.
We will give you a 10% discount if you want to write your Will with us – whether that be an Online Will or Telephone Will for yourself or for you and your spouse or civil partner.
